She has styled some of the top names in the industry and worked with many of the most fashion forward films and television series and that’s why Miss Field, and I’m not talking about the cookies, is today’s NYFW Spotlight.

Born and raised in New York City, Field as embodied the style of an eccentric New Yorker which is prominent in the costume designs in her profile of work. Patricia is well-known for the costume designs of infamous stylish icon Carrie Bradshaw for “Sex and the City.”  After winning several awards from the Costume Designers Guild, Field moved on to design costumes for ABC series “Ugly Betty” and hit film “The Devil Wears Prada.”

Fun fact about Patricia Field, she met Sarah Jessica Parker on the set of “Miami Rhapsody” in 1995 where the two became fast friends. Parker was the one to ask Field to design some pieces for Carrie Bradshaw.
