Back 2 School Week: College Class

It’s that time of year kiddies. Time to trade in the sun screen for computer screens, sunglasses for homework on Sundays and Summer shorts for Fall boots. This year Glambergirlblog is kicking off a ‘Back 2 School’ (B2S) week which will highlight a variety of things when it comes to going back to school in the Fall. Since the college kids are usually the ones that go back to school first this post is dedicated to them. “College Class” will focus on my favorite fictional college Hillman College from “A Different World” and the various types of class you can have this school year.

Carsey-Werner Company Kadeem Hardison as Dwayne Wayne Geek Class Much like Dwayne Wayne this school year you can adapt a geek style. Bring out the suspenders this year with the pop up glasses. You could also invest in a few cozy sweaters with a dark colored pant and boots. Or if you want to go with a busy 90’s design shirt you could modernize it with jeans and sneakers.

Casey-Werner Company Jasmine Guy as Whitley GilbertSuper Chic Class Now my girl Whitley Gilbert is the epitome of super chic class. Whit Whit was dressed head to toe in designer clothing and was the go to girl for all things fashion. To be that girl this school year you don’t need a black card OR designer clothes. Learn the term fashionista on a budget. You can make an outfit look like a million bucks if you put yourself together nicely. Try stores like H & M and Forever 21 to maximize your budget.

Carsey-Werner Company Jada Pinkett Smith as Lena James Urban Class Lena James traveled miles to college and her street style came right along with her. Lena’s style was very baggy and boyish but you can easiest flip that and make it glam. Try a loose, over sized sweater with skinny jeans or a pair of boyfriend jeans with a loose top and fluffed up hair and lots of accessories.

Class in now in session! Be sure to check back all week for ‘B2S Week’ on
