Question of the Day: How Awkward Will Breaking Dawn Part 2 Promotion Be?

Sorry that I’m not sorry about all the Twilight, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson talk this blog has been exuding the past couple of days but when a topic is THIS hot and MAYBE the biggest entertainment story of THE YEAR, I can’t help but to keep talking about the deemed “vamp tramp” and all the fall out from it.

I can’t help but to think how this is truly going to mess up promotion time for “Breaking Dawn Part 2.” (BDP2) There’s no doubt in my mind that this scandal will stop people from seeing the last installment. I think the last movie will be just as successful, if not better, in the box office department than previous films but man oh man will this be one awkward press tour. And the DVD features, I just pray to Bill Condon that there is a Kristen, Rob and Taylor commentary track just waiting to be edited! I was really hoping there would be one for BDP2 since the first film lacked one.

Now how cray do I look? I feel pretty ding, dang, darn stupid. I was the biggest advocate for Kristen Stewart! I could have been president of the damn fan club. I have dozens upon dozens of posts written about her and how much I adored her. I defended the girl like she was kin to me. Anytime friends would comment on her nonchalant ways towards fame I would debate down any misconceptions they had and would always win. She don’t know me from Eve but I can’t help but feel some type of way about how she royally fucked up the already bittersweet vibe of the last film.

eating popcorn gif Pictures, Images and Photos *Come in close* But to tell you the truth I’m even more anxious now for the film than ever! Yes, Kristen will get booed if she does daytime/ late night talk shows, fans will curse the day she was born and there’s a good chance there will be NO group interviews with the entire cast but this will make for such good writing material to see it all unfold, I can’t wait, oh my gah! Don’t worry Ki Ki, this too shall pass; people don’t hate Alicia Keys anymore for being a home-wrecking whore, at least I don’t think so.

How awkward do you think promo time will be for the last installment of the “Twilight” series?

  1. I don’t think this scandal is really going to hurt Kristen’s career or the Twilight franchise, but I do think the tour could be awkward as anything. Even if the get back together (fingers crossed) it will be on everyone’s minds. I wonder if any of their costars are going to weigh in.

    • I don’t think they should. It’s none of their business really. I’m glad I’m not the only one hoping they can work it out. Yeah, she messed up MAJORLY but she’s human and 22, she really IS like the rest of us.

The tour Is going to be so strange. I just hope they want to do fan stuff and some idiot don’t mess it up and mention that. Who knew we would end up picking sides again and it would be Kristen vs Rob.

      • When reading the book, this part is the one I hate the most. SOBBED meslyf to sleep like I was a child. Think I might have had the sup sups too. Bringing the kleenex with me for sure. I don’t even want to think about it. I’ve felt the tears creep up a few times with just the previews. I can’t deal with it and yes, it’s a book, but it’s very moving and sad. OMG.. please tell me they show Edward hiding her stuff under the floor boards.. JERK!! LOL.
